Jeff has been married for more than 22 years. He is a Credentialed Mediator through the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association with advanced training in Divorce, SAPCR and Family Law Mediations from the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center.

Jeff completed his mediation training through the Dispute Resolution Center in Austin Texas in 2004 and has successfully mediated complex civil and Family Law disputes since that time. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America. In addition to being selected by parties and attorneys to serve as mediator, Jeff is often appointed to serve as mediator in complex family law matters and he has successfully served as lead counsel in hundreds of mediations on behalf of clients.

In addition to serving as a Mediator, he serves as Senior Managing Shareholder and Co-Founder of Uzick & Oncken, P.C. His education includes a B.A. in Liberal Arts from The University of Texas at Austin where he earned his degree in 1980 and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1984.

Jeff's litigation practice focuses on trial work and includes service as lead trial counsel in over eighty (90) jury trials. His caseload ranges from Family Law to Commercial/Business Litigation, Medical Malpractice, catastrophic Personal Injury cases, Product Liability, and Premises Liability.
